Summer: Awards & New Arrivals

It’s been an exciting month at Obaby and most of the buzz in the office has been centred around firstly our success at the Loved by Parents awards at the end of June. This was of great value to our brand, as winners are decided by the general public, and this year 50,000 mums and dads all over the globe cast their votes and gave us four silver and four gold awards in total for our Chase Pramette, Zezu Multi Tandem and ABC Design Zoom Tandem. For us, these awards are a seal of approval from the people that really matter and meant that spirits have been high at Obaby HQ.

With awards season in full swing we are also delighted to have been shortlisted for the Best Baby and Toddler Gear Awards which is run in conjunction with well known review sites Pushchair Trader and Mumii. We have 7 products in the running, including our Nanofold highchair, ABC Zoom Tandem and even our brand new Metis and Leto strollers.

Participating in a variety of awards this year has been exciting. Not only does it give us a chance to showcase and publicise our products but it also feels great to support websites like the brilliant parenting blog Loved by Parents and dedicated review sites like Pushchair Trader and Mumii, who are all committed to providing helpful and impartial advice to parents everywhere and assistance to those in need.

The arrival of summer has also meant the launch of a range of brand new products for Obaby. We’ve had the Metis, Metis Plus and Leto Twin and Leto Plus strollers arrive this month along with our new Tiny Tatty Teddy pushchair designs and also our long awaited Chase Zigzag. This has meant that we’ve been truly snowed under, from taking a multitude of orders in our sales office to writing press releases and newsletters in our Marketing department, everyone has been pitching in. With the successful launch of our Chase Pramette earlier this year, the Chase 3 in 1 in two striking zigzag designs I am sure will be a hit. There are so many bright and bold designs in our new collection, so we even started a new board on Pinterest for our Autumn/Winter inspiration, from zigzags for the launch of our new Chase to nautical themes taken straight from Obaby's Little Sailor:

Finally, we have been very sad to say goodbye to our lovely parent blogger Memo Mummy, along with Little Lady, Chappie and Baba last month. After Memo Mummy’s departure, there has been an Obaby-sized space in the blogosphere, but our brand new blog is now open for business and will be providing you with Obaby’s latest news, along with featuring insider information on Obaby’s day-to-day business and even a few exclusives!
