Harrogate 2015: Review

With our biggest stand at Harrogate International Nursery Fair yet, the Obaby team was hugely excited to have the chance to exhibit our comprehensive range of furniture, strollers, car seats and licensed goods, as well as catch up with existing and potential retailers from around the globe.

The Obaby stand boldly led with our full selection of furniture room sets, each creatively showcased in lifestyle nursery displays. The products gained a lot of attention, with Harrogate visitors responding positively to the diversity, style and size of our collection. We received great feedback on our brand new Minnie Mouse nursery furniture, which features beautiful full colour illustrations of Minnie and has a matching selection of beautiful patchwork bedding, as well as our popular Lincoln room sets.

Harrogate also set the stage for previewing our licensed Disney Circles range, which includes Strollers and Twins, Highchairs, Travel Cots and Bath Changing Units. A first for Obaby, the inventive Bath Changing Unit sparked a lot of interest. A changing table with a bath tub that pulls out from underneath, Harrogate’s customer base seemed impressed with the product’s unique and practical parent solutions, as well as its lively designs featuring Minnie and Mickey Mouse.

Our stand buddies, ABC Design, made a colourful impression on this year’s Harrogate International Nursery Fair with their bright and fashion-forward 2015 collection.

The award-winning Zoom Tandem took pride of place at the company’s stand; displayed in two unique colour combinations it gained plenty of attention from Harrogate’s visitors, with many recognising the twin from press and marketing or even having first hand experience of its adaptability and wealth of features!

Alongside the Zoom were other customer favourites like the Cobra and Mamba, all showcased with a sublime splash of colour for 2015, as well as some new additions to ABC Design’s UK family – the Takeoff and Avito strollers. The Takeoff proved to be a show highlight, with many excitedly requesting demonstrations of the stroller’s impressive compact fold, which transforms the product in two simple steps.

                                                     

An exclusive look at the brand’s Plus range also saw some existing ABC Design products, such as the Cobra, Mamba and 3Tec, further enhanced with unique vision, design and innovative features. This definitely created a buzz with visitors to the stand, with ABC Design’s friendly team members excitedly talking them through their key strengths and giving numerous hands on presentations.
